Color Keys

Today has been a long day for some reason. Perhaps its the rain that makes me feel sluggish and want nothing more then something warm to drink and to stay in my room. I've been listening to Rachmaninoff most of the day and its been rather inspiring. I find that classical is wonderful for me to draw to. I created this piece above today because I wanted to paint a rainbow of colors and listening to a piano being played made me want to incorporate keys. A typewriter was the first thing that jumped to mind. I searched for reference of one and found a beautiful royal typerwriter from the 60's to base this design off of.

I have an urge to re-watch "In the Realms of the Unreal" again. Henry Darger is such an odd inspiration. That man did amazing things with color.

My feet are freezing. I want a peppermint hot chocolate..
