Keep Calm

I need to take pictures soon of my new room in my apartment. I'm really enjoying where
I'm at. Today I made my 15th sale. I know its not a huge amount but I'm completely grateful for each sale that I make on etsy. Plus I also love odd numbers. I have also been featured in an interview on the Creative Moxie Blog if you'd like to check it out.

I recently saw two movies in one week.
"True Grit"
and
"Tron: Legacy"
Both I loved. Both are totally different. I'm a sci fi geek girl at heart and tron really grabbed me with the visuals. The music which is supplied by Daft Punk was A-MAZING. Tru Grit is also spectacular. Better acting of course and I can't help but fall for almost every Cohen brothers film I see.
Anyway check those movies out if you get a chance. I'm almost tempted to do a tron inspired print but I haven't a clue how that would go over hehe.
I wish everyone a happy and healthy New Years.
I think one of my new years resolutions will be:Write down more dreams. Start taking pilates again or adult ballet classes..
what will yours be?

Sedona random

There are quite a few new images for sale on my etsy site. This is one of them. Sedona. One of the most beautiful trips I have taken with my family was going to the grand canyon in winter time. Before we got to the grand canyon though we visited Sedona. The colors of the stone were so beautiful I was just blown away. The teal of the sky matched with the salmon orange of the surrounding stone..I really can't wait to go back there.
I can't stop listening to Nick Caves "O Children" which was in the new harry potter movie. I get to go have dinner with my wonderful friend Tanith tomorrow and you should all check out her blog. Shes linked on my side bar and she has some amazing art!
Im pretty sleepy now. I've been slowly getting over a cold and the insanity of the christmas season at the bookstore has been a bit overwhelming. I want to go see HP and the deathly hallows again. I've been reading a lot of Jon Krakauer. <3
Sleepy time now. This post is so rambling...

Ride on Fall

I have been so M.I.A. lately. Mostly dealing with the fact that I had to move. I am now in a new place(been here for a little over a week) and I feel really great. Art ideas are flowing to me more readily. I'm closer to my work(the bookstore!)and my roommates are great. They own two cats and I love them. One of my roommates and I might go out to get a christmas tree today. Its just great. Its been crazy this last year and a half or so. I've moved 4 times in less then 2 years. NYC to the tenderloin sf. Tenderloin to outer richmond. Outer richmond to inner richmond...phew. I attended the Academy of Sciences Nightlife last night. Tomorrow is a friends birthday party and sunday is a another friends birthday party! Insanity. This really is more social then I've ever been. I'm also heading home to bakersfield on tuesday since I wont be seeing anyone on xmas from my family. Planning on baking christmas cookies with my mom which makes me so happy. Really I can't say this enough, this month has started out beautiful. Ill be back to more posting and sorry for being gone but moving is quite the ordeal.

Above is one of my recent drawings and my most recent etsy addition to my etsy store. I'm happy to say that I made my first international sale today all the way to portugal! I want to thank everyone again who has supported me in this pursuit. I don't know where I would be without my friends and family right now. <3
